Classroom projects are supported by direct experience. There is no stronger evidence for a child than the one he can directly observe. Reality leaves an imprint that could never be achieved with pictures, film or long lectures.
Houses
The house system is an important part of students' lives at school. Upon entering Primary, each student is assigned to a House to which he or she will belong throughout his or her entire school life. Students from the different levels at School interact within each House, a fact that allows them a growing range of friends as well as the possibility to develop and take on leadership roles. Sport competitions and activities in the academic area in English throughout the year add points for each House.
Special Dates
Family Day at Kindergarten Level and E.G.B. Sports Day give families the opportunity to share sporting activities and games in a happy and friendly environment.
We believe in the importance of Project Work, and so we
choose a central
theme on which all the school works
throughout the year - each group dealing with this theme according to its abilities - leading to an Open
Day.
The
school Musical, enjoyed by the whole school community, is a chance to show how
much the students have learnt in their English, drama and
music lessons.
Lunch
Students attending double shift can have lunch on the school premises. Children are assisted by specialised staff, trained to provide an orderly and peaceful lunch break.
